Social Security Disability Insurance

Thank you for considering us.

Effective July 1, 2025, we no longer offer Social Security related services to new clients.  We appreciate your consideration of this office.

Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI)

SSDI is designed to assist individuals who have paid social security taxes and become disabled before reaching retirement age. The disability must be expected to last at least a year or result in death. You must also meet specified work history requirements. You must have worked recent enough and of adequate duration in order to qualify. If you are found disabled, your family members may qualify for auxiliary benefits.

Disabled Adult Child
Benefits (DAC)

The Disabled Adult Child Benefit falls under the SSDI program. DAC benefits are designed to assist adults whose disability began before the age 22. If qualification requirements are met, this program pays benefits based on the parent’s (or potentially the grandparent’s) earnings record.
