SSA offers several ways to file your application. You can do so by requesting a paper application from your local social security office. You can also call 1-800-772-1213 to schedule an appointment to apply by phone. If you are deaf or hearing impaired, you can call TTY 1-800-325-0778. Lastly, you can apply online by visiting the Social Security Administration’s website.
