We are here for you.

At the Law Office of Natalie King Powell, we proudly represent claimants pursuing Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) and Supplemental Security Insurance (SSI) claims. We assist adults and children in their pursuit of benefits for the following claims:

Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI)

SSDI is designed to assist individuals who have paid social security taxes and become disabled before reaching retirement age. The disability must be expected to last at least a year or result in death. You must also meet specified work history requirements. You must have worked recent enough and of adequate duration in order to qualify. If you are found disabled, your family members may qualify for auxiliary benefits.

Supplemental Security Insurance (SSI)

This program is designed to assist elderly, blind or disabled individuals with limited income and few resources as defined by the Social Security Administration. Both adults and children can potentially qualify for this benefit.

Disabled Adult Child
Benefits (DAC)

The Disabled Adult Child Benefit falls under the SSDI program. DAC benefits are designed to assist adults whose disability began before the age 22. If qualification requirements are met, this program pays benefits based on the parent’s (or potentially the grandparent’s) earnings record.
